Stay out of My Fucking Sight
I am Eric Northman. I am the sheriff of Area 5. Fangtasia, my vampire bar, in Shreveport is where I spend most of my time. I try not to spend much time with humans, but Sookie is the exception. Godric is my maker and I am the Maker of many. I recently lost my memory, but I now remember everything after spending the night with Sookie.
Time Zone: EST
No Where, but Somewhere
Lying in the middle of some flat grass land was Eric Northman. He had his eyes closed and he was just thinking. Thinking about everything that could possibly be thought. Eric had been there for some time now and he didn’t have an exact plan to ever get up either. He also had no exact idea of where he was. Sure he knew he was in North America and he could always find his way back, but he knew of a sort of direction he was in. Confusing yes, but all the sense to him.
The thought of Pam crossed his mind and he wondered where she was. Would she have gone back to Europe or run off somewhere else? He wasn’t sure, but he considered going after her to try to make amends. That is if she would give him a chance after what he did.
It was then he felt like he was a different person. Eric loved Sookie yes, but the mistake of Pam was so tragic that he felt the need to chase after her. It also struck him that Godric was in pain. Why wasn’t he with him? What was he doing?
There was nothing to be sorrowful about except being happy for the ones around him. What the fuck had gotten into him?
Eric shot up and quickly started running back to Louisiana as fast as he could. It took him a few hours, but when he made it, he had every intention of going back to the house to see Godric before anything else.
Studying the Stars
After traveling for what seemed like years, Eric stopped at a body of water. He had an idea of where he was, but it wasn’t exact. Eric thought he might be in front of the Atlantic Ocean somewhere north, like Virginia. He could of been across the world if he wanted to, but when he ran, it was in numerous directions and when he walked, it was at a human pace.
Spotting a tree not too far from him, Eric went to it and leaned against it looking up at the stars. He was never much of a star gazer, but he figure why not try now? Eric sighed, thinking of Godric. He could feel the emotions flowing off of him whenever Eric was around him, but he never asked to see how he was. Godric came back to this world for him and Godric didn’t want it. Sure it hurt that he didn’t want to come back for him, but it just didn’t make sense that Godric was in such a dark place. How could he get that way? Eric thought it could of been from their time apart prior to finding him at the Fellowship, but how could he know? It was his fault for him coming back and there had to be something in Godric that hated Eric for bringing him back.
Yet, Godric loved Eric, there was no doubt in that. Eric just couldn’t help, but feel guilty. It seemed like his fault after all and Godric was seemingly distant the days they had been in Godric’s home together. Godric would be gone for some time and Eric would have the house to himself. Eric always worried he wouldn’t come back, that he would leave him again, but he would know if Godric departed from this world. He would feel it.
Eric assumed showing his love for him would help, but nothing seemed to. He needed to help Godric and him being gone would not help, but he knew when he came back, he would love Godric even more for giving up such a joyful thing for him.
The Rising Action
Finally rising from the ground, Eric left himself dirt covered because he had no means of cleaning himself off and he just had no drive to clean himself. The pants he wore were also covered in dirt and he didn’t care because they could always be replaced. Eric swallowed and started to run in a random direction.
Thinking of his relationship with Sookie, he should have never sacrificed Pam for Sookie. Sookie was bound to leave him and it only made it worse that he only found this out after she broke it off. When Eric made Pam, he made a promise to never leave her and he broke it. If only he hadn’t. Giving up your progeny for a human? Probably the worst decision you can make. At the time it just seemed logical and now it was making much more sense to him now. A human could never understand the progeny/maker bond because they were never in one. It just seemed inhumane to them, but they were in no means humane. They were far from human.
The power of thirst was becoming more and more harder to deny. He sipped at one of the vials he had and eventually turned to gulping it til it was done. Eric only had a limited amount, but he didn’t care. If he ran out, he ran out. Simple as that. He didn’t plan to starve. Eric planned to stay away from Louisiana til he felt like he was ready to go back and back to normal. He just wasn’t quite sure what normal was yet.
The Stream
With no destination in mind, Eric just went off in any direction he went and had no means of traveling other than his feet. He would eventually have to dig a hole for rest, but he had plenty of time. Eric set out on more of a mental clearance to just keep his goals in mind and rethink what happened.
Once he was deep in some forest, he found a stream. He avoided all streets and any sign of life. There was no point in looking for someone to eat so he brought along a few vials of Sookie’s blood he had over. Eric ran his feet through the stream and although the water was cold, Eric felt no difference. The water felt good against his dirt covered skin and his thirst was becoming more and more, but he made no move to reach for one of the vials. He had left shoes at home because he felt like there was no need to care for cleanliness. Wasn’t like he was trying to impress anyone and even if he did enjoy his good hygiene, there was no need to care now. The only thing he had to care about was his thoughts.
To battle his thoughts was like battling in a war. There was so deeply rooted that he just couldn’t forget about any of them or push them aside anymore. His mind was screaming to meet the sun, but he knew it would be such a selfish move and to do that would be just adding more sorrow onto himself, even if he was dead, it would follow him some how.
When he felt like his feet were clean enough, he put his hands in the water and went on to dig a hole for him to sleep in for the night.
Just for a while
Eric knew he wasn’t himself. He felt like everyday he was battling a demon he couldn’t fight to not let out. Eric knew he was probably hurting the ones around him and that was one of the main reasons Sookie broke it off with him so abruptly. He knew Godric had problems of his own and Godric needed someone to lean on for once instead of Eric always requiring him for him to be there. Godric was his maker, he at least deserved to have some kind of support.
He was taking time away to just be alone with his thoughts. To see where he was and where he stood. Eric knew something was off and he wouldn’t go back until he felt like he could go back into the flow of things. Hurting the ones around him would not be helping matters. To become the Eric he was, was to summon old thoughts. Strange how he changed and no one could be accustomed to him. They had grown so close with the old Eric. He could remember when he didn’t want to remember just so he could remain just like he was, pure and innocent in a sense. It was a new start he would love to have back. If only he could.

Eric could feel the guilt and sadness enter him again like it did the few years ago that Godric had met the sun. At the time he wasn’t sure why he had done it, but he had always had the lingering question over his head, Did I drive him to his death? The guilt had hung over his head ever since and even thinking Godric was gone hurt him more than anyone could imagine. He had disappointed Godric again and it was gut wrenching.

Feeling a bit more tired than usual…
-she noticed her brother had been asleep for too long and then started to shake him once again-
The men around him started to shake him and poke needles and knives into him. It was like they were forcing him to watch what they were doing. They didn’t put anything over his mouth to stop him from screaming and the pain was one of the worst he felt in his life. He screamed for them to stop, but they never did.
Come on! Wake up -whimpers and shaking him harder-
The horror that played before him was getting worse and worse by the second. The slashes from the silver scalpels produced a burning, searing pain that he just couldn’t bare. Eric cursed and screamed in Swedish until he had passed out from the pain. It was then and only then that he found Jenna looking up at him as he screamed and still writhed in pain.
God dammit you scared me -holds her close to him and then proceeds to say your okay over and over until he stops-
*grips onto her for dear life and shivers* It hurts. *tear falls down cheek*
